Hustling Craigslist and making extra money by working old posts.
In my book The Craigslist Hustle I teach about being quick to respond to posts as they are listed on Craigslist. If a certain item is listed for a killer price then most likely there will be others trying to respond and buy the item. For example, if someone lists a matching Maytag washer and dryer that is a few years old for $200 or below it will go fast. As I’m browsing Craigslist and see this set listed I try to be the first to respond so I can purchase the set and resell it for a minimum of $350. Well, here recently I have been going on Craigslist and contacting people who previously posted items 14-45 days out that I am interested in buying. A lot of times you will find that these individuals will sell their items for a lot less just to get rid of them if no one has responded to their post. I contacted a lady who posted a Kenmore washer and dryer 19 days prior for $600 and I asked her would she sell it for $200. It was a blessing because she was just about to give it away to a nonprofit agency due to no one responded to her post. Of course her post was very bare and didn’t attract any buyers. In my book The Craigslist Hustle I teach you how to create an attractive post to sell your merchandise. After I went and picked up the washer and dryer I was able to sell it for $400 in a couple of hours. There are several ways to make money via Craigslist, and as a result of being laid off by my employer years ago I mastered an approach that helped my family of five during one of the most trying financial periods in our lives. I now find joy in sharing this knowledge to help others around the world make extra cash for whatever the need. So, go back through some of the old posts of whatever items you’re looking to flip for profit and suggest some outrageously low offers and see what happens. The end of them month is always a good time to do so as well because a lot of people are moving and need to sell their stuff.
